Wellington Cricket Club has a growing membership base and is able to field five men’s teams in various divisions of the Shropshire County Cricket League. The Club also has a Midweek team who play in a competitive league during the season. During the winter months, the Club also fields a team in the Indoor winter league.

Wellington CC has a growing Ladies section in both hardball and softball formats. The hardball team competes in the Shropshire Active Women’s Hardball League, and the softball team competes in the indoor winter league and in several summer festivals. The Club also has a large (and growing) girls section (9-19) with girls in U11 and U13 teams taking part in various festivals across the summer.

The Club’s junior section (ages 9-19) continues to grow year on year and the Club is always keen for new youngsters to join us and it is the Club’s aim to nurture talent and enthusiasm for the game from an early age. Wellington CC has U10, U11, U13, U15 and U19 teams and train each age group separately so they have age (and talent) appropriate coaching.

Wellington CC also caters for enthusiastic youngsters aged 5-8 with the ECB All Stars Cricket Program. This runs during the summer months including the opportunity to take part in fun festivals around the County.
