UPDATE FROM FAMILY: The time since Dad passed away has been difficult; however the kindness, stories and support has been so helpful to us all. Stuart Nadal's funeral will be on Friday 26th September at 12.30pm at Telford Crematorium. Followed by a wake at Wellington Cricket Club. Family flowers only.

Stuart was incredibly appreciative of the care he received 7 years ago when his life was saved by a local person and a defibrillator. We are still researching the best way to support the purchase and location of a local community defibrillator in Wellington to help save more lives - any donations received will support this.

Stuart was a stalwart player for Wellington in the 1970s and 1980s. He was known as a popular captain and accomplished batsman, who also had an eye for a slip catch.

He continued to support the club and Shropshire CCC from the sidelines, both at home and away, after he finished playing.

Cricket was a great passion of Stuart's - second only to his devotion to Telford United FC- and he remained a Vice President of Wellington CC until this day.
