CrossFit Shropshire Takes on 24-Hour Fitness Challenge on Saturday 21st February to Raise Funds for REORG – With Support From Across the World
CrossFit Shropshire will host a gruelling but inspiring 24-hour fitness challenge on Saturday 21st February, raising funds for REORG, the charity that supports veterans, emergency service personnel, and their families through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and functional fitness.
The challenge will see coaches and members complete one hard workout every hour, on the hour, for 24 consecutive hours – pushing physical and mental limits in support of a cause that changes lives.
What makes the event even more remarkable is that it won’t just take place in Shropshire. Participants in Australia will also be taking part, completing the same challenge in solidarity and helping to raise funds on the other side of the world.
REORG works with people who are struggling with physical injuries, mental health challenges, or the transition back into civilian life, using structured training, community, and purpose to rebuild confidence and resilience.
“Fitness is about far more than looking good or lifting weights,” said Graham Carless, owner of CrossFit Shropshire. “It’s about health, connection, and having something meaningful to fight for. REORG does incredible work, and this challenge felt like a powerful way for us to give back.”
The 24-hour challenge will take place at CrossFit Shropshire on Saturday 21st February, with members of the public welcome to come down, support, donate, or simply cheer the athletes on throughout the event.
Funds raised will go directly to REORG to help expand access to their programmes and continue supporting those who have already given so much in service to others.
