WCC Remote Cricket Coaching Keep working on your game from the comfort of your home!

With the cricket season now postponed until further notice, the Wellington CC Academy coaches have been working hard to produce a number of drills and activities which our young members can do from home.

For our junior section, three different sets of activities are being created based on age groups: there is an U11 category, and U14 category and an U19 category.  Separate drills are being prepared for the Summer Academy intake as well.

Videos will be shared in Dropbox with the notes on how to perform the activity sent directly to your email address along with a few technical pointers which parents can use to help ensure your child is performing the skill correctly.

Junior members who have already enrolled for this season can also claim a batting tee, a tennis ball and a Michael Clarke ‘reaction ball’ free-of-charge in order to perform a wider range of the drills at home.

We would welcome ideas from our young cricketers and parents about what they would like to see in these videos – so please come forward to help us tailor the resources to your child’s needs.

In order to access the resources, please email Ross Edwards and he will tell how you can get started! His email is ross.edwards@wellingtoncc.co.uk.

We are also developing some different activities for our senior players over the coming days and will release more information on this due course.
