Wellington CC has four men’s teams that play their cricket on a Saturday across the summer season (April – September). The Club also has one team that plays in the Sunday league. For more information on each team, please click through using the menu above.

The first and second teams train twice a week during the season (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and all senior men’s teams train on a Thursday evening during the season. Coaching is led by the Team Captains and other qualified coaches from within the Club.

During the close season the teams also have an opportunity to train in winter net sessions which are held at Wrekin College Sports Hall.

Selection for teams and matches follows a stringent selection process and a copy of that policy can be found here. The Cricket Chairman, Club Captain and Team Captains meet once a week for selection and teams are announced as early in the week as possible. Individuals are reminded that it is their responsibility to make their captain aware of their availability. Selected players will be informed by their team captain of their selection and team lists are also posted to our social media platforms by Friday of the week of matches.
