Wellington have five Shropshire League sides across all levels offering great prospects to develop your game amongst our excellent training and playing facilities. Looking For Ladies Cricket?

Wellington has a growing female section offering the chance to learn the sport and develop your skills in a fun and sociable environment. We offer both hard and soft ball formats. Speak to our Ladies Captain Hannah Young on 07827 865345 to find out more about how you can get involved.

Complete Beginner?

Were you inspired by Ben Stokes’ heroics last summer, or are you simply looking to get fit and meet new people? Experience is not necessary if you are keen to get into cricket. If you’ve not played for years or are looking to start from scratch, contact David Ross on 07545 348068. Come along to pre-season nets free of charge.

Cricket For Kids

Wellington’s ECB trained coaches provide training and playing opportunities for boys and girls of all abilities within our large Junior Section. Meanwhile, our Cricket Academy aims to push our brightest talents on to the next level. If your son or daughter is interested, contact Simon Topper on 07921 234800. More details about the pre season Parent Information Evening and the summer schedule will be released soon, so keep an eye on the website.

And For The Little Ones….

Wellington offer the ECB All Stars programme for kids ages 5 to 8 years – a fun, skills-based introduction to cricket and teamwork – held throughout the summer. For more information, contact Ruth Jarvis on 07917 844301 or visit the All Stars website.

No Boundaries!

Last year 231 people of all ages, backgrounds, sizes and abilities came to our Orleton Park ground to play their cricket. Our youngest player was FIVE and our oldest was SEVENTY! What’s stopping you becoming our next?
