Wellington CC's Ladies' Day, held back in June, raised nearly £5000 for local good causes.

The annual event was well-supported despite terrible weather on 15 June when the event took place.

Over 100 guests were in attendance for a sit-down meal, followed by drinks, a raffle, an auction and more fundraising activities.

There is a photo collection from the day available to view here thanks to photographer John Cutts.

Of the back of the event, the organisers have been able to make large donations to three local causes: Severn Hospice, The Harry Johnson Trust - a Telford cancer charity - and Wellington CC's Youth Section.

Well done to the organisers of the event and to everyone who supported it so generously.
