In a Sunday friendly, the 6th XI saw their total of 133-7 chased down in an away tie against Condover II. Rob Anderson’s 34 was the mainstay of Wellington’s innings, but sadly the bowlers could not defend the sub-par total. Jamie Webb with 2-6 off four overs was the pick of the attack, and Koottalai Srinivasan also claimed two wickets. Nevertheless, the hosts ran out convincing winners by five wickets.
