Become a Young Volunteer Wellington are looking for youngsters to take the ECB's Cricket Activators Award - a great way to learn new skills and boost your CV!

The club would also like to encourage our younger members to consider signing up for the ECB’s Cricket Activators Course. This is for young cricketers who want to become qualified to help support our adult coaches. The course will take place at Wellington CC over the coming months.

About The Course

The ECB Cricket Activators Course aims to encourage young people to get more involved as cricket volunteers.

The course will provide the skills and knowledge needed to volunteer in a wide variety of roles in clubs, community and education.

You will give something back to your club, learn new skills and it will look great on your CV!

ECB Cricket Activators Award (6 hours)

Target Audience: 14-18 year olds, boys and girls

The role of an ECB Cricket Activator is to create an awareness and interest in the game by helping to organise, promote and deliver playing opportunities. The ECB Cricket Activator course supports individuals who want to engage with cricket, and support the growth in participation of the game at all levels, including recruiting and retaining interest.
