Wellington Climb back to second place
The first team hosted a promotion chasing clash on Saturday when they welcomed Wolverhampton. After winning the toss end electing to bowl Wendel's men dismissed Wolverhampton for 142. Trevor Garwe the pick of the bowlers taking an impressive 4-21.
Neil Edwards continued his second half of the season form scoring 68 off just 30 balls, 64 of those coming in boundaries! Daniel Vaughan
(16*) and the skipper Wendel (8*) saw the team over the line in just 23 overs.
The result leaves Wellington's in second place with promotion in their own hands. The team travel to Bromsgrove on Saturday for the final game of the season knowing a win will send them back to the premier league.
