Notices 2008

Annual General Meeting:  The Club AGM will be held in the pavilion on Monday, November 24^th  at 7.45 p.m.

Prize Presentation: The prize presentation evening will be held in the pavilion on Saturday, September 27th (to be confirmed).

Club Register:  All members who change their address or telephone number should notify the General Secretary immediately, so that the club register can be kept up to date.

Car Parking:  No cars must be parked in the lane.    Members must use one of the club’s two car parks – on the field by the main gate or at the rear of the pavilion.

Cry-Offs:  Any player who has to cry off from a match must contact the match secretary, Duncan Taylor, as soon as possible.   Should a match be in doubt through bad weather players should also contact the Match Secretary.

Time to Dine: Ted Jones will be holding his annual pre-match lunch in the pavilion on Saturday, June 7^th when our visitors are Shrewsbury. This season there is also a Chairman's pre-match lunch on Saturday, August 2nd when the visitors are Old Hill.

Knockout date:  Wellington play Newport or Much Wenlock at home in the first round of the Shropshire League’s Chronicle Cup Knockout on Thursday, June 12^th.  The winners of that tie are home to Wem or Bomere Heath in the next round to be played on Thursday, June 26th. In the Birmingham League Twenty20 Challenge Cup, Wellington are away to St Georges in the second round on Wednesday, June 18th. The winners are away to bridgnorth or Shifnal on Wednesday, July 2nd. The semi-finals and final are at Kidderminster on Sunday, September 14th.

Tour match: The following tour match has been arranged – Thursday, July 31st v Coal Aston (2.30pm).
