Wellington batted first in the final, which was hastily rearranged after rain on Friday evening caused the scheduled match to be cancelled.
The visitors put in a strong performance with the bat, registering 112 for 2 in their 20 overs. Oliver Parton, Jovan Uppal and Ben Thompson all retired unbeaten on 25 runs.
Captain Josh Macdonald then led from the front with the ball, claiming three wickets. Ben Thompson also took two wickets, whilst Harrison Vaughan and Lucas Foyle took a wicket each in what was an impressive all-round bowling display.
Whitchurch finished on 72 for 8 in their 20 overs. Josh Macdonald was presented with the trophy and with the man-of-the-match prize.
Congratulations to coach Steve Moules and his players on a fine win. Thank you to Whitchurch for your generous hospitality and for the those who came to support the players of both sides.
